to vent

okay. yesterday I wanted to punch noely in the face at least 5 times, which generally happens when i've been with him for longer than a week straight. even though its still fun, i'm also being driven slowly insane.

-we were in uptown. shane jeanette and madison were with us. noely wanted to buy a snowglobe for someone back home. we all walked into a store and you could tell it was one that doesnt usually get business because this little asian man ran out from the back when the door opened, greeting us promptly and looking excited. noely looks at him and says "yeah, snow globes." not, "hi, i'm looking for a snow globe" or "hey, do you guys sell any snow globes here?" just
"yeah, snow globes"and then little asian man says "i'm sorry i dont understand?" and noely says "dude, snow globes!" the man shrugs his shoulders and says he doesnt think so and then Noely shakes his head, walks out and leaves us all to shrug awkwardly and back out of the store.




-we are at the short stop in echo park with sara and jonathan. he asks "so when are your dudes coming?" i say "joe?" he says "no, all your dudes" and i say "what are you talking about? amy and penny and everyone?" he says "yes, obviously, your dudes" and i say "well i would never call them my dudes, but i'm not sure, in a few hours or something"
and he says:
-"like in how long an hour or two, or an hour and a half, or less than an hour?"
"um, i'm really not sure. they get off work at ten so sometime after that"
-"will they be here in30 minutes or 90 minutes? are they coming at all? i just want to know when everyone is coming."
"i have no fucking idea noely. i have no idea. i know when they get off work, thats it"
-"okay. but if you could say "x" will be here at "y" amount of time and guess what would you say?"
"i wouldn't be able to say. they are coming after work. thats all i know"
-"so we'll just say potentially 30 minutes to an hour."
"say whatever you want just dont ask me again"


-we are in jonathans car driving home. i find the freeway, the 101 south and get on it.
noely asks '"is this the right freeway?"
'yes. we came on the 101 north we want to take the 101 south'
-"so we're going to have to turn around then?"
'what? no. why would we do that?'
-" you said we were on the south and want to go north"
'no. i didnt say that'
(sara and jonathan): "yeah, she didnt say that. this is the right way"
-"so then are we going the right way?"
'obviously. obviously because we are still going this way and i'm not turning around and i wouldnt drive the wrong way just for fun.'
-"so we're good then?"
'dont ask me anything else.'
